On the highways and decimated wastelands of Auto Assault , those that can go on the offensive and dish out as much punishment as they can receive will often survive the day. So goes the life of the Human Commando, a soldier in every sense of the word.
Commandos can be found at the front lines of the Human domain, assaulting Biomek or Mutant strongholds or holding off massive attacks on Human defensive positions. The Commando's effect on the battlefield is not just a solitary physical one, but a more unified mental one as well - the Commando, through extensive training, can make others around him fight and perform at a higher level.
Unlike other classes that typically use lighter, lesser armored vehicles, Commandos get access to the heavy assault vehicles with a better variety of stronger weapon systems and military-grade armor and shielding. Also, like the Commando's ability to help other Human's morale and fighting ability, the Commando's access to new technology can be a boon for others - enhanced weapon and defensive systems can not only help the Commando, but his fellows as well. |
