Humans are generally very good on the battlefield as their technology allows them to maintain a steady pace with the cyborg Biomeks, and their skill and determination are equally matched with the Contamination-rich Mutants. However, to ensure their victory, Humans still need an inside edge, a unifying presence to lead them to victory. This is the role of the Lieutenants.
The Human Lieutenant receives some of the best training and support available to the race. Lieutenants are able to quickly create and execute plans of attack, helping coordinate allies and making them more effective on the battlefield. Their enhanced psychic abilities allow the Lieutenants to mentally stimulate allies and harm enemies using the power of the mind alone.
Lieutenants can also summon various forms of support. They can call on air support through helicopter gunships, coordinate artillery barrages, and lay down air-dropped defensive turrets at strategic locations. The Lieutenant can also utilize various forms of ground support, from miniature mercenary tanks to enhanced infantry battle armor. |
